One of Thomas' parents let him feed the ostriches by hand. You'd think we would have known from the previous week at Fossil Rim that ostriches are agressive, but you'd be wrong. Thomas came running up to show me that the baby ostrich had bitten his hand while eating from it.

I am going to assume you were NOT the parent who let your child be bitten by the ostrich :)
At least it didn't break any skin and give him some funky germs....yuck.
Cute Shot! You can tell Thomas isn't worried about it at all.
