Love this shot! I had prefocused the camera ready and waiting for David to throw Thomas UP in the air. Instead he threw him right at me. I snapped this just before jumping out of the way.

Turks and Caicos Take Two

We had such a great time visiting Turks and Caicos in 2007 with my folks, Mike and Amy, and their kiddos, that we decided to go back for our summer vacation this year. We stayed at a Beaches all-inclusive resort and had a blast. Even though our flight was delayed, we arrived in time to get to play in the ocean for a little while before sunset. (Note that before the trip was over, we lost two of those three goggles).

Thomas had a lot of fun at his school's field day events. The one we've laughed the most about is this obstacle course run.

Golfin' With Uncle Mike

My brother, Mike, came to Texas for a visit and of course, he brought his golf clubs. Thomas got to go with us to play one day. It was his first day on a "real" golf course. Before this, he'd only been to the driving range.

CJ Wilson

This Rangers pitcher did something really good the night we saw him pitch in early May. I'm posting these pics 2 months later and can't remember what it was. A shut-out, no-hitter, complete game, something that had all of the fans on their feet chanting CJ! CJ! the entire last inning.

I've taken a similar photo at the Japanese Water Gardens and it turned out much better. The water was more still there. I figured I take one anyway, just for fun, and was about to walk away when....

I thought these were so interesting. Almost all of them were lying over and I love the one popping up in the middle. Maybe it was the water? Lack of sun? I don't know my flowers, as I've said before, but I did like them.
