Stee-rike!!!

Switching from hitting off a tee to having your coach pitch to you is a challenge for even the best of players.
Thomas hasn't had a hit yet after four times at bat. He'll get it. It's just all about the timing.

Dayton has had a couple hits, but he's struck out too.

Baseball Buddies

Thomas and Dayton have been buddies since they were about 15 months old and played baseball together for the last three. Glad they're still on the same team, even though we had to switch when they moved up to coach pitch.

First Pitch

Rangers Captain umpired the first pitch. Play ball!!

Opening Day Prayer

I was tickled by the player next to Thomas peeking to see if everyone around him had their heads bowed during the opening day prayer.

Tigers on Parade

Thomas is on a new team this year. He's playing for the Tigers and is excited about it. Here they are going past us in the parade. David on the left marching with three of our coaches, head coach on the right.

And Grandpa Dale was walking too. :-) Glad they were here visiting!

Opening Day Parade 2010

We had much better weather this year. Still cool but much more pleasant. We enjoyed seeing Rangers Captain again. He had several jobs this year as you'll see. First, riding on the fire truck.
