Had some fun with my water camera yesterday. Got some fun shots that you definitely can only get by being IN the water shooting up at the diving board. Here's Natalie.
Thomas started golf lessons on Monday. Here he is with his golf buddies. From left: Thomas, Natalie, Sembree, Sydney, Christian, Will, and Jonathan. Will and Jonathan aren't taking lessons but Jonathan's ready...see his club?
My grandma was visiting this week and one afternoon, Thomas put her to work making something with Pixos while he did a page in his summer workbook. Cute pair!
How long does it take a two year old to make a mess like this? Less than 5 minutes. He decided the fish needed some food and that he could do it himself. He couldn't. I'm not sure what the paper towel was for. I'm thinking maybe he needs better supervision. ;-)
The boys were doing crafts the other day. I was folding laundry and asked Thomas to get the big boy scissors Jonathan was using and give him another pair. I meant the ones that don't cut anything but paper, but didn't notice that Thomas gave him another big boy pair. I heard Jonathan cutting but thought it was paper. It wasn't. It was his pajama shorts.
Thomas and David didn't beat the Aquaman record set last summer by Amy, James, and Thomas of seven rides, but they did do it three times and were thoroughly soaked. Maybe that's why they did the Judge Roy Scream 6 times...to dry off! I'm not sure what these feet were for but I like Thomas' idea.
I get better pics when they sit on the back row, but they had to take what was open. I always enjoy seeing Thomas having fun while older people look scared. :-)
My three guys riding the tea cups. Daddy spun it so fast, Jonathan wouldn't ride it again. The second time David and Thomas rode it, both of them felt sick afterwards. That's why I'm on the sidelines. :-)
Why does this image scare me? I'm pretty sure you'll be able to see this same gleeful grin on Jonathan's face when his big brother is driving him around town in ten years. Eeek!
This one makes me laugh...my fearless six year old with his hands in the air while the woman behind him has a look of terror on her face...riding a kiddie coaster! I'm guessing she won't be riding the Judge Roy Scream six times like Thomas did. :-)
Did you notice how Jonathan is nowhere to be found in these shots? He wouldn't get near them. He claims they all scared him, except Bugs Bunny who he said "hi" to but freaked when Bugs actually took a step in his direction. Maybe next year.
We've been on summer break for a week and a half and have already been to Six Flags twice. Don't think we'll keep that pace but we've had a lot of fun already. I loved the sweet brotherly interaction in this shot: Jonathan's sweet smile watching his big brother show him how to ring the bell on the train.
One lazy summer morning, Thomas decided it was time for Jonathan to watch Star Wars with him. Then he convinced Jonathan to put his Halloween costume on (Yoda vs. Obi Wan) and once they were ready, they battled with the Star Wars movie on screen. It's funny how much Yoda has grown since Halloween.
Thomas had several good hits during his last t-ball game on Saturday afternoon, including this one. The pitcher missed the ball...too much heat for him. ;-) I say last t-ball game but that's not right. It was his last regular season t-ball game. He made the All Star team and is very excited about it. We're proud of him too! He'll play in at least three possibly as many as six tournaments this summer depending on how well they do. He's going to be busy, and so am I taking him to practice three times a week! :-)
