This baby bird fell out of the tree when David was mowing the yard on Saturday afternoon. He couldn't fly yet but sure could run fast.

That is exactly what I thought....baby bluejay. Yes, momma will defend her babies. I've seen my cat get attacked by blue jays. But...that is what makes them such awesome birds. I enjoy having them in our yard.
