JoJo

If you've ever seen the movie Dolphins at the Omni, you've heard the story of JoJo the dolphin. He lives in Turks and Caicos and swims near boats and snorkelers. He followed our boat all the way to and from Iguana Island. Unfortunately, this is the best shot I have of him.

The Kitty Kat

We had a great day riding on the Kitty Kat. Sat up front on the netting and enjoyed the water flowing beneath us. Enjoyed the boat ride, snorkeled out in the ocean, and again at deserted Iguana Island.
None of us are in this pic, but I loved the view of the water and the boat. Wasn't the water beautiful?

I forget why Jonathan wasn't happy at that moment but I like the perspective of the boys with the sail in the background.

This isn't a perfect shot, focus is fuzzy, but I totally love Jon's silly grin, and Thomas' bang tan line. :-)

The boat beached at Iguana Island.

Thomas on the deck of the Kitty Kat. There was a Sail Provo boat that followed the same route we did but it didn't stay as long.
There was a water slide at the back of the boat that David and the boys went down when we were beached. Darn water spot got in the way but love Thomas' expression!

My Snorkel Buddy

Thomas was my snorkel buddy. He was so enthusiastic. Every few minutes, he'd tug my hand so we could surface and he could tell me, "Mom, isn't this the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?"

Snorkel Bros

After snorkeling out in the ocean, we got to get out and swim/explore Iguana Island. The water was even more beautiful here. How was that possible?

Night Pool

This is my favorite night shot. It's of the pool by our hotel room in the French Village. We swam here most nights before bed and it was always deserted like this.

Thomas was very excited to find a sand dollar on his own. And crushed that he couldn't take it home since it was still alive.

Sesame Street Parade

One night, there was a neat parade that included all the Sesame Street characters and an island band and other unusual characters.

Water Slide

Jonathan loved this water slide. Went down it about 100 times. At least.

Lizards

There were lizards all over the island. This one was by our room, we saw him every time we were heading out. One day, I finally remembered to have my camera ready to go, and the kids warned not to scare him off.

Air Boy

Playing in the Italian Village pool (there were at least 5 different pools) Jonathan was enjoying a lift from Daddy.

Fountain Poser

Heading to eat breakfast one morning, Thomas stopped and said, "This would be a great place for a picture Mom." He was right.

Ray!

Swimming about 20 feet from shore, I looked down and was surprised at what I saw below me. I backed up a little, remembering Steve Irwin, and quickly turned the camera on. So cool!

Dolphin Fountain

This shot was with my water camera. Not too shabby.
Thomas is right between the two statues waiting for the swim-up bar to open so he could start drinking his strawberry daquiris. He would watch the clock and at 10 am would start asking why the bar wasn't open yet. His record was 7 in a day. ;-)

Giant Chess

Our room was in the yellow building on the left. The boys enjoyed this big chess game. Every morning, the game would be reset before we got up and out.

Little Rascal

Jonathan being Jonathan spent 80% of the time being incredibly cute and 20% being a rascal. He was about to throw that sandy water on me. Love that glint he gets in his eye!

And when he got tired of me taking his picture, he thought this would be a good way to get me to stop. Love the spit string frozen in mid-air.

Lazy Thomas

The resort had a lazy river that Thomas and I really enjoyed. David and Jonathan weren't that impressed. :-) Note that on day 2, he still had his tooth. He lost it a day or two later.
He didn't love the pink tube but I liked the color against his green swim shirt.

Beach Boy

Jonathan throwing sand. Water spot in the corner bothers me but I still love the shot.
He LOVED the beach. Spent hours playing in the sand and the water along the edge.

Kept digging holes and they kept filling up! :-)
