Birds on the bow of the Colonel, the lame paddleboat ride we went on while at Moody Gardens.
While waiting to board the ship, I captured this shot. I promise I didn't do anything in post production to make the brown water look blue. Maybe it was the sky reflected in it. The water most definitely was NOT blue. :-)
The ONE good fish pic I got there. Thomas enjoyed the touch pool. Jonathan enjoyed watching. He wasn't about to stick his hand in there. Kind of funny to me because he's usually fearless.
My guys on the boardwalk in Kemah over spring break. This pic was taken on St. Patrick's Day, thus the green shirts. David was pinched repeatedly since he didn't wear one. :)
Thomas was really hopeful he'd catch a foul ball. He was pretty upset when none came our way. I tried to explain that I've been to a LOT more games in my lifetime than he has and have never caught one either. Don't think that helped manage his expectations though.
I tried and tried to get a shot of all three flags blowing in the wind. I could have cheated with software, but I didn't. This is the best of the attempts.
Switching from hitting off a tee to having your coach pitch to you is a challenge for even the best of players. Thomas hasn't had a hit yet after four times at bat. He'll get it. It's just all about the timing.
Dayton has had a couple hits, but he's struck out too.
Thomas and Dayton have been buddies since they were about 15 months old and played baseball together for the last three. Glad they're still on the same team, even though we had to switch when they moved up to coach pitch.
Thomas is on a new team this year. He's playing for the Tigers and is excited about it. Here they are going past us in the parade. David on the left marching with three of our coaches, head coach on the right.
And Grandpa Dale was walking too. :-) Glad they were here visiting!
We had much better weather this year. Still cool but much more pleasant. We enjoyed seeing Rangers Captain again. He had several jobs this year as you'll see. First, riding on the fire truck.
The morning of the baseball opening day parade, we woke up to pretty skies like this. It was cloudy and cool, but nowhere near snowing like it was last year.
