Tried some different filters/settings in Photoshop Elements to intentionally mute the colors to match the setting. And aren't they sweet brothers heading off to another adventure together?
I have no idea what kind of spider it is, but the largest ball in the middle of the picture is a spider. If you look closely you can see the web she's spinning.
This is one of my favorite shots of the day and it was not something I planned. Jonathan wanted his picture made on the tractor, but when we put him up there, he sighed and pouted. Not sure what he was thinking but it sure was cute.
I know I photographed this windmill in March, but the weather was totally different this time and therefore, the mood of the image is different. Boy does that sound arty or what? ;-)
I first visited Penn Farm on a photography field trip in March. We thought Dale would enjoy all the farming equipment and I enjoy photographing it. Here the boys are pretending to start a fire in a fire pit.
When Dale and Wanda visited recently, we took them to Cedar Hill State Park. The next series of photos were all taken there. Love the photo options available! And I loved that Thomas was in a photographic mood. He kept asking me to take his picture as well as pictures of things he found interesting.
We went to eat in downtown Fort Worth the other night. This shot was taken from the parking garage across the street from Bass Hall. I only had my little Olympus in my purse, but was still able to get a pretty good night shot with it.
A couple years ago, Thomas went through a phase where he liked to dress up like a knight and do battle. Underwear and socks were his uniform of choice. It's been a while but now he's got his little brother battling with him. :-)

I went to check on Jonathan the other night and this is how I found him. Not in bed, both pillows half out of their cases, and toys all around. But he WAS asleep. ;-)
We love visiting the Japanese Water Gardens. The boys love feeding the koi and I love all the beautiful scenery to photograph. The upper half of the frame is a little washed out, but I still like the shot. Love when the water is still enough to get that great reflection.
We went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens the other day. We were actually on our way to the Japanese Festival inside the Japanese Water Gardens which is in the Botanical Gardens. On the way to the Japanese Water Gardens, the kids wanted their picture taken here. Challenging shot because the sun was right behind them.
