Dallas Blooms 2010

And now we're onto the Dallas Blooms section of my photo blog. I went to the Dallas Blooms festival at the Dallas Arboretum a couple weeks ago with David's aunt, Barb, who has recently switched to a DSLR. I rented a 105mm macro lens and had a blast getting shots like this with the shallow depth of field. One of my favorite images of the day. And I'm sure you'll be tired of flowers, especially my favorite tulips, before long, but too bad. Art Car Museum

Thomas learned about the Art Car Museum at school and was really excited about going there on our trip to Houston. Imagine his disappointment when it was closed. At least he got to see the outside and has photographic proof that he WAS there. :-)

After playing in the waves for a while, Jonathan took off running across the sand...and promptly fell. And since he was wet, it instantly stuck. And then his mean old mom made him pose for a pic before cleaning him up.
