Since Lisa posted a water reflection pic today, I decided to go ahead and post this shot of a snake in the water at the zoo. Can you tell that I did not have my circular polarizer on today? See all the reflections? I don't mind them in this shot. Just wanted to point out that I KNOW. ;-)
There are at least 300 other pictures I took over the last few days that are really neat and that I need to spend some time deciding what to post. For now, I'm going to post this image that tickled me during the egg hunt at my grandmother's house. Just thought it was a cute place to "hide" an egg.
We were in Lubbock for Easter but the Easter Bunny found the boys and brought them these cool umbrellas along with some other neat things. Thomas' is a pirate umbrella and Jonathan got a frog one.
If I were a little less lazy, I might try getting rid of the faint wire lines in this shot. I was able to mostly get them to disappear just by the way I shot it, but not completely. Still like this view of the cool eagle.
My nephews Mason and Palmer were visiting over the weekend. We had a lot of fun with them. I have many more good shots to share over the next few days/weeks, but for starters here's a shot of all four boys on a stagecoach at the zoo.
First you practice your whistling.
Then you stretch it out.
Then you notice your mother photographing you, give her a dirty look, and hold your hand up so she'll STOP. But she doesn't.
Then you do a little dance and kick some dirt around.
Then you decide you might as well practice your batting for t-ball.
I'm pretty sure that one would have been a home run.
